Terms of Use
In order to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests, we have established the following rules of use, which we ask all guests to observe.
If the rules are not respected, we may have no choice but to refuse accommodations or use of the Hotel’s facilities.
In the event of an accident, the guest may be held liable for damages.
When making a reservation, all guests are deemed to have read and agreed to the terms and conditions of this agreement.
It is our goal to provide all guests with a comfortable stay and to help them create enjoyable memories.
Article 1: Use of Accommodation Facilities
- Please check the evacuation route map displayed in the facility.
- No one other than registered guests are allowed to enter the accommodation facilities.
- Please note that long-term use of the accommodation does not give the guests any legal rights related to their residence.
- Minors only are not allowed to stay at the Hotel without the permission of their parents or guardians.
Visitors who are mentally or physically disabled, or who have lost their reason due to drugs or alcohol consumption, etc., and who cause trouble or anxiety to other guests, are also asked to refrain from staying in the guest house. - Visitors are not allowed to meet with guests at the hotel.
Article 2: Keys to Guest Rooms
- Please make sure that the door is always locked when leaving the accommodation during the stay.
- Please make sure to lock the door while staying in the room or while sleeping.
- To enter the room, please enter the PIN number into the digital lock on the door to open the door. We will provide the code to guests individually, so please share the code with others in the same room.
Article 3: Valuables
The hotel will not store any valuables, cash, or cash equivalents. Please keep such valuables safely at all times.
Article 4: Responsibility of the Hotel
- The Hotel will compensate for any damage caused to the guest by the hotel’s performance or non-performance of the agreement for accommodation, use of facilities, or any other related contract. However, this shall not apply if the damage is not caused by any reason attributable to the Hotel.
- The Hotel is committed to the maintenance of disaster prevention facilities and is covered by Ryokan Liability Insurance in the event of a fire or other emergency.
Article 5: Payments
Payments can be made by credit card only. No cash is accepted.
Article 6. Accommodation Safety
- Do not use fire for heating or cooking, candles, etc. in the accommodation facilities without the hotel’s permission. However, this does not apply to the equipment provided by the Hotel.
- Smoking is not permitted in the accommodation facilities.
- No business activities, offices, parties, or any other purposes other than lodging are permitted in the hotel without the Hotel’s permission.
- Do not move any of the fixtures in the guest rooms without the Hotel’s permission, and do not make any alterations or modifications to the guest rooms. In the event of damage, guests will be charged for the actual cost of the damage.
Ukiyoe paintings on the walls, in particular, are difficult to restore, so we ask that you do not damage or deface them. - Do not take small items of furniture and fixtures out of the accommodation facilities.
- Do not place any objects by the windows that would detract from the appearance of the Hotel.
- Do not allow visitors into the accommodations, and do not use any of the facilities or items in the accommodations without the hotel’s permission.
- Accommodation of people who are not listed in the accommodation ledger or false reporting of the number of people staying is prohibited.
- Please use paid parking lots in the vicinity for cars, motorcycles, bicycles, etc. at own risk. Parking on the premises or in areas that may cause inconvenience to neighbors is prohibited.
Article 7: Other Prohibited Items
Please refrain from bringing in the following items or acts that may disturb other guests or neighbors inside the Hotel.
- Dogs, cats, birds, and other pets.
- Ignitable or flammable items.
- Items that emit foul or poisonous odors.
- Items in extremely large quantities.
- Items that are prohibited by laws and regulations.
- Behavior or conduct that is abusive, intimidating, or disruptive to public morals, or that may cause disgust or annoyance (including noise) to other guests or residents in the neighborhood.
- Advertising, distribution of promotional materials, sales of goods, solicitation, etc. on the premises.
- Activities that make noise (on all days) or work and behavior that involve noise late at night.
Article 8: Court of Jurisdiction
In the event that a dispute arises between the Hotel and the Client regarding a contract, the laws of Japan (not the laws of the Client’s home country) shall govern, and the Osaka District Court, which has jurisdiction over the location of the Hotel, shall be the court of exclusive jurisdiction.
Any costs associated with the court proceedings shall be borne by the guest.
Article 9: Request from the Hotel
In order to conserve resources, we ask for our guests’ cooperation in conserving electricity and water.
